Happy Passover in Yeshua Hamashiach

Happy Passover.pngPassover is a 3,500 year-old Jewish tradition commanded by God to commemorate God’s gracious intervention when He chose to deliver and redeem Israel through the blood of the lamb. By God’s gracious hand, the Jewish people are still celebrating this great work of God. Israel has survived the Pharaohs, the Hamans, the Hitlers, and the Ayatollahs of this World. God has preserved His chosen people throughout all generations.

Yet, Passover is not only about the prince, shepherd, and a mere human redeemer called Moses and the lambs that were slain to save Israel from the judgment of God upon Egypt and all of her gods, but the Jewish Passover is also about the Messiah the Prince of Israel and the King of the Jews. The Passover is about the Good Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep and the Redeemer who redeems His brethren from their hopelessness, tears, pain, slavery, and bondage to sin, Satan, and the world. The Passover reveals the One Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world – Yeshua of Nazareth who is the Messiah of Israel. Happy Passover! Yeshua of is ALIVE!:)

Christ Our Passover was Sacrificed for Us

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God

Passover, April 20, 2019

On this day in A.D. 32, at 9AM the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified – but not for Himself as the prophet Daniel predicted (Daniel 9:26), for “He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” – Isaiah 53:5-6. Whoever repents of sin and believes in Yeshua will be saved!

God poured out His wrath against our sin upon Yeshua the Messiah – He is “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” – John 1:29. The Messiah, whom Gentiles call Christ, took our sins upon Himself, willingly, because He loved us and because He was God in the flesh and the Only One who had the power to do so. As the ultimate fulfillment of the Passover Lamb (Exodus 12), He was the Lamb without spot and without blemish, for He had no sin: “Whosoever sins transgresses also the Law, for sin is the transgression of the Law, and you all know that He was manifested to take away our sin, and in Him there is no sin” – 1 John 3:4-5.

Because of His expiatory sacrifice on our behalf, He is the One who will judge the world – you and I – in righteousness having given us complete assurance of this fact by His resurrection from the dead: “ Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead” – Acts 17:30–31.

Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, was crucified on Passover Day for the sins of the whole world: “And He is the propitiation for our sins and nor for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world” – 1 John 2:2.

Jesus Christ loves you. Yeshua proved His love for you by dying on the cross for your sins, being physically buried, rising from the dead on the third day. Messiah Yeshua, God in the flesh, rose again from the dead. He is alive and kicking!

What must you do to be saved from eternal damnation in hell for your sins? You must: “Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved. For, with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For Scripture says, ‘whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’ For, there is no distinction between Jew and Greek (Gentiles – non-Jews), for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” -Romans 10:9-10, 13.

I pray you have a blessed Passover by repenting of your sin and believing in the death, burial, resurrection, and eyewitness accounts of the Great God and Savior Yeshua the Messiah of Israel, Jesus Christ.
