Paul in Corinth. Acts 18:1-18. Part I

PAUL IN CORINTH: A TRUE APOSTLE NEVER CEASES TO PREACH THE GOSPEL

Here is the PDF for Paul in Corinth Part I: Paul in Corinth. Acts 18.1-18

Paul came to Corinth and met Acquila. He stayed with Acquila and his wife Priscilla, and he worked with them in the tent making business. Paul shares the Gospel with both Jews and Gentiles when he enters the synagogue of Corinth, and he seeks to persuade them all to believe the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a true apostle of Christ, Paul was relentless in his preaching and teaching of the Gospel and in his desire to persuade all who listened to repent of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. As is demonstrated in the book of Acts, a true apostle’s ministry emphasis is the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Christ and making disciples that will live the crucified life through the Spirit of God. No true apostle of Christ will fail to share the Gospel every where he goes. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless us with His understand of His word.

God bless you.

Paul In Athens. Part II. A

Here is the PDF of the entire message taught on Sunday morning:

Paul In Athens. Part II.A

Paul, the consistent and faithful apostle, did not shrink back in intimidation though he was the only one in Athens preaching Jesus and the Resurrection. I pray this message is a blessing to your heart and that through it you will draw closer and closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is He who died on the cross for our sins, rose again from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven where He presently sits interceding for His people. It is He who will soon return to earth, punish the world for its ungodliness and rebellion against Him, and establish His 1,000 year reign upon this earth as the Messiah of Israel – the promised and blessed Son of David. May we live for Him and find in doing so, that this is life. God bless you.

What’s Important?

What’s Important?

By far, the most important thing in life is knowing Jesus Christ.

There is nothing that will last forever except a personal relationship with Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah of Israel.

Do you know Jesus the Messiah (Christ – the Anointed One)?

Is Jesus your Messiah? Is Jesus your King? Is Jesus your glory? Is Jesus everything to you?

It has been said, “that if Jesus isn’t in first place, then He is out of place.”

Is Jesus Christ first in your life? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ?

He is coming. He is coming again. He will rule on this earth.

Only those who know Him will be granted eternal life and escape God’s wrath and eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.

You can know Him who is from the beginning – the Lord Jesus – the Messiah of Israel.

John 20:31 King James Version (KJV)

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

Take the time to read the Bible; read the book of the Gospel of John.

May you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your God and Savior and receive eternal life by believing in Him and repenting of sin.

God bless you.

By God’s Grace

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also, we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” – Romans 5:1-2

In Acts 15:6-11, Peter teaches us that God chose, God gave the Holy Spirit, and God purified Gentile believers (non-Jews) by faith in Jesus Christ. He declared, “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved – even as they.” It is only by God’s grace that a person can be saved from eternal damnation in hell. God’s gift of eternal life is given to those who confess and believe that Jesus Christ is God and Savior, and who repent and believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. His gift of salvation does not depend on one’s goodness but upon one’s faith in Jesus. This is God’s grace to us – we do not have to be perfect in order to receive His gift of salvation through Christ: “That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” – Romans 10:9. “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works, least any man should boast” – Ephesians 2:8-9. “Be strong in the grace that is in our Lord Jesus Christ” – 2 Timothy 2:1.

No Apology

No Apology…

Where will you spend eternity?

Jesus the Messiah declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” – John 14:6.

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and He made no apology for this truth. According to Jesus of Nazareth, there is no other religion, creed, philosophy, or faith that will open the door way of heaven and allow us to enter into the eternal presence of God the Father.

Jesus Christ declared that He, Himself, was the Door into heaven, and He made no apology for this truth: “I Am the door of the sheep” – John 10:7.

Peter preached without apology: “Repent, therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” – Acts 3:19. Everyone must repent and believe in Jesus Christ in order to go to heaven.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and He rose again from the dead on the third day. All who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ as their God and Savior will be saved:

“That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” – Romans 10:9-10.

If we die without forgiveness of sins through the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will go to Hell.

Hell is real.

Without apology, Jesus Christ taught the truth about Hell and warned us of its eternal torment – Luke 16:19 -31. All who will not repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Hell’s flames.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to appease God’s wrath for our sins, so we would not have to go to Hell.

No one has to be eternally damned. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price on the cross for our sins; by faith in Jesus Christ alone, we can escape eternal damnation.

The God of heaven and earth is a gracious God, but He does not tolerate rebellion – allegiance to Satan and his kingdom. By rejection Christ, every human being is worshiping Satan whether they are aware of it or not – Revelation 13. All unbelievers are under his power and authority – Ephesians 2:1-3. The Lord God of heaven and earth has no rival, and He is a jealous God. He gave no apology when He declared this truth concerning Himself to all of us: “I am the LORD, and there is no other besides me: and there are no gods. I’m strengthening you, although you have not acknowledged me, so that from the sun’s rising to the west people may know that there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other” – Isaiah 45:5-7 (ISV). He is the holy God. He is the just God. He is the Judge of our souls: “It is appointed to men once to die but after this the judgment” – Hebrews 9:27.

Our sins are rebellion against God’s holiness, righteousness, and sovereignty. Our sins are evil. We are evil. God is holy. His holiness demands that justice be served upon the souls of all who sin against His laws – His Word and His Truth.

Mankind is sinful, lost, self-absorbed, and in rebellion against the God of the Bible. Man’s future is bleak to say the least. However, there is Hope, and Hope’s name is Jesus Christ. He can save us from our sins if we repent and believe in Him.

Hell is not going to be a place where unbelievers are going to party. On the contrary, Hell is where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” – Luke 13:28. Jesus taught that Hell was a place where the “worm does not die and the fire is not quenched” – Mark 9:44-48.

According to our Lord Jesus, Hell is a real place. In Hell, the worms don’t die, and the fire never goes out.

I don’t know anyone who would like to take a bath in a tub full of flesh eating worms.

I don’t know anyone who enjoys being burned.

Eternal Hell is not going to be a party place; it is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth – eternal pain and suffering.

In contrast, heaven is a place of glory, joy, peace, perfection, beauty, life, excellence, happiness, purpose, satisfaction, worship, blessedness, wealth, splendor, power, meaning, and, most of all, it is where all who know Jesus Christ as their God and Savior will be in His presence forever!

I pray that you will understand where you will spend eternity.

I pray that you will know the love, mercy, and grace of the Lord God.

I pray that you will repent, believe, and follow Jesus Christ.

God bless you.

That Person…

That Person…

That person who drives you nuts is God’s gift to you – your homework if you will.

By God’s grace, love this person in spite of his or her flaws, inconsistencies, failures, and rebellion.

It is not giving in; it is giving out – from a heart filled with pain by that person’s foolishness but healed, strengthened, and refreshed through the power of the Holy Spirit. First, we forgive as our gracious Lord has forgiven us. Second, we show mercy by being kind as our God has been towards us. Third, we show love by serving this person the way our Lord has served us.

There is no faith in Christ that is not rewarded, dear saint.

There is no giving of self, or death to self, that the Lord Jesus does not replace with Himself.

The Lord Jesus empowers those who, solely because of faith in Him, will serve Him in weakness only to find themselves strengthened by His presence in the exact moment they began to serve Him by faith.

“Through love, serve one another” – Paul the apostle, Galatians 5:13.

I pray that person in your life will be used by the Lord Jesus to make you more and more like Him who is our Lord – “I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live. Yet, not I, but Christ lives in me. And, the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me” – Paul the apostle, Galatians 2:20.

God bless you, dear friend.

Revival In America?

Revival in America?
psalm85-6

“O, that my people had listened to Me and Israel had walked in my ways!” – Psalm 81:13

May America listen to God and walk in God’s ways.

Our God can do anything. Nothing is impossible for Him. He can bring revival, but revival starts in the hearts of God’s people.

3,000 years ago God instructed Israel with the remedy for idolatry and sin:

“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” – 2 Chronicles 7:14.

1. Note how God address His people: “If my people…” If…

2. Consider what God tells His people to do: humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways.

Understand how God has promised to respond when His people obey His Word: 1) I will hear from heaven. 2) I will forgive their sins. 3) I will heal their land.

America needs God to forgive her sins and heal her land.

God wants American Christians to: humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways.

Perhaps this is the only reason why revival tarries.

May the Holy Spirit awaken the hearts of every born again Christian in America, so we might be a part of God’s remedy for the nation – Jesus Christ – true revival.

Can I Be Forgiven?

SeasetWe need our sins forgiven.

That is the one issue between God and man – our sins.

God wants humanity to know that sin separates us from Him; however, He has made provision for our sins – His Son, Jesus Christ.

God has ordained Jesus Christ to be the Judge of the living and the dead. Jesus, our Judge, died on the cross for our sins – this was God’s will.

God wants to save us from the judgment that is coming for the world’s sins (all our sins combined) against Him. We will be condemned to hell if we chose not to be forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. When we reject Jesus Christ as our God and Savior, we remain enemies of God. Instead of loving God, we chose to love our sin.

Our sins can only be forgiven “through His name” and “whoever believes in Him shall receive forgiveness of sins” – Acts 10:43. God will forgive us is we will believe in Jesus Christ: that He is God, that He died on the cross for our sins, and that He rose again from the dead on the third day.

Forgiveness can only be granted by God, Himself. He said that if we believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, then He will forgive

of our sins.

May you believe in the Son of God – Jesus Christ – who died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead.

He is alive. He is the truth. He is what you are missing.

May the Lord Jesus reveal Himself to you.

God bless.

A Prayer For Unified Intercession

prayer-1

Psalm 80:17-19

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,
Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.
Then we will not turn back from You;
Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!

Lord Jesus Christ, let Your loving hand be upon us. Make us strong for Your sake and for Yourself. Make us turn back to You, for we can not produce a holy passion for You in our own power, in our own wisdom, or in our own strength. We need You to fill our hearts with Your love and passion for God the Father, love for one another, and compassion for the World.

Revive us, O’ Lord Jesus, and we will call upon Your name! We need You to revive our hearts because we are powerless to revive them in our own strength. When You revive us, we, Your Body, will call upon Your Name together in unity – corporately – fellowship to fellowship and house to house.

Restore us, O’ LORD God of Hosts! You are the only One who can restore us, renew us, and help us live passionate, holy lives for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Cause Your face to shine upon us! Do not hide Your face from us; we come to seek Your face that we may reflect Your glory to all fellow believers and to all the world around us.

Holy Spirit, fill us once again.

Amen.
