Here’s Hope: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. When life happens, never forget the truth: that God causes all things to work together for good to those of us who love God and have been called by Him according to His purpose. He has conquered death, and He lives forevermore. There is no pain in a believer’s life that He cannot transform into a blessing, there is no fear that cannot be used by God to make us fearless, and there is no foe that we cannot learn to forgive. My hope is in Jesus Christ; it is because He lives that I now live. It is because of His grace that I have new life and strength in my soul. He alone possess the power to work all things together for good in the life of those who follow Him, and by His grace, I am going to love this God and trust Him. I am not perfect, but I serve a perfect God. God bless.
It is Christ who died! It is Christ who was buried! It is Christ who rose again to never die again! It is Christ who was seen by over 500 eyewitness. It is Christ who ascended into Heaven. It is Christ who will soon return!
It is Christ who gives us the grace to be saved and to seek to become more and more like Him through fellowship with Him.
The world and its foolishness, the corrupted Unchristian, “Christian” world and its foolishness, and all the foolishness of men will be done away with when the Lord Jesus Christ appears! All true, repentant and sanctified believers in Christ will be gathered together with Him to meet the Lord in the air, and they will ever be with the Lord. The unfaithful will suffer the wrath of God that will be poured out upon this world.
When Jesus Christ returns, He alone will clean up the mess that man and his wisdom has created and boldly infused into His redemptive purpose to corrupt His plan of redemption. Satan has twisted and promoted a Satanic “Christianity” that is pathetic, evil, and powerless to to produce Christlikeness – yet, Christlikeness is the goal of a true believer’s sanctification – Philippians 2:12. So many propagate this vile form of Christianity that it is becoming the norm.
Scriptural Christianity teaches conformity to Christ, denial of self, taking up one’s cross, and following Jesus in obedience to His doctrines whether healthy or unhealthy, rich or poor, hungry or full, or miraculous or not – Philippians 4. True Christianity seeks to become more and more like Jesus Christ in heart through daily fellowship and obedience to Him – Philippians 2:1. The true Christian will learn the secret of knowing Christ by experience, the power of His resurrection, the fellowship of His suffering, conforming to His death, and attaining to the resurrection of the dead! Though not perfect, the true believer is perfected and declared righteous in Christ – completely justified in God’s sight by His grace through faith alone.
There is whoredom within what is called Christianity, today; professing “believers” have sold themselves to lies propagated by men and women claiming to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor teachers. Prophecy has become fortune telling, Bible teaching has become entertainment, apostolic doctrine has become the opinions of fathers, and forms of evangelism have become the cloak for covetousness and the love of money. For these things and much more, what is called the “church” needs to humble itself and repent, yet repentance is far from the vocabulary of mainline denominations.
“Seek the Lord and live,” Amos warned.
“Rend your heart and not your garments,” Joel declared.
“Repent and believe the Gospel,” Jesus proclaimed.
For the time has come that judgment must begin in the house of the God, and it most certainly will.
May all the faithful continue to be faithful to the end and receive the crown of life by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:17–18(NKJV)
17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. God bless.
Jesus Christ lives in all of us who have repented of our sins and believed His Gospel: His death for our sins, His burial, and His resurrection.
Once Christ lives in you, you have the power of Christ to live for Christ and to become more and more like Him – this is the great goal of our sanctification – Philippians 2:12.
Because Christ lives in us, He is our hope of glory – that one day we will be with Him in heaven. Christ is our hope of glory; we have no hope outside of Christ living in us.
If Christ is not in you, you have no hope of glory or of going to heaven.
Christ in you means that He lives in you. When Christ lives in you, He takes charge over your heart, your emotions, your attitudes, your thoughts, your speech, and your behavior.
You cannot remain the same when Jesus lives inside of you. Those who never change do not have Christ living inside of them. Christ is both the Initiator of change and the Transformer of our transformation. All this is made possible by His grace.
Is Christ Jesus, the Hope of Glory, living inside you by faith in His Gospel?
Have you changed?

The Glorious Gospel will prevail.
Don’t worry. Jesus Christ rules, and His Gospel will triumph over this world.
I believe the Word of God: Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” Revelation 11:15(NKJV)
Every nation, kingdom, government, family, tribe, and individual will be given over to the power and control of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will rule over all.
“He shall reign forever and ever!” I rejoice in my Lord Jesus Christ.
“Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end…” Isaiah 9:7 (NKJV)
He will not be voted out of office.
He will not be scrutinized by the media.
He will not be ambushed, accused, impeached, or imposed.
“Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end…” I praise God for His truth, power, and love!
Jesus warned the Sanhedrin who asked if He was the Messiah of Israel, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:62(NKJV)
When the Lord Jesus Christ visibly returns to this earth, He will come sitting at the “right hand of power” – the very power of God, Himself, because He is God. He will come with the “clouds of heaven” – the glory clouds of God, Himself. All the world will stand in awe of the conquering King of Heaven – the King of the Jews – Jesus of Nazareth.
He alone is the King of kings and the LORD of lords; He is the “Great King above all gods” – Psalm 95:3.
My heart overflows with faith-filled optimism in the truth, reality, and power of the Word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Join me in fellowship with the Master! Praise His name with me. Yes!
Subtitle: AN INVITATION TO DINNER
Apollos served the Lord Jesus in Ephesus, Corinth, and Crete. His love for Christ is manifested in his bold presentation of the Gospel, from the Scriptures (the Old Testament), to unbelieving Jews in Corinth and elsewhere. May we possess the same boldness.
Moreover, Aquila and Priscilla took the time to disciple Apollos. In the ancient world, fellowship involved hospitality. Meals provided excellent opportunities for fellowship and discipleship. It is very probable this godly couple took Apollos into their home and shared meals together, and that through this, they equipped him with the fullness of the Gospel.
There is a great need in the body of Christ for “mature” believers to equip the unequipped through godly, caring discipleship from the dinner table.
May there be many more Aquilas and Priscillas in the the body of Christ. All you have to know is Jesus, His Word, and how to cook. This is a great syllabus for discipleship. Sadly, “mom and pop” discipleship ministries are few and the emphasis forgotten. Wake up “mature” believers! There are cities full of young men and women waiting for an invitation to dinner!
God bless you.
PAUL IN CORINTH: A TRUE APOSTLE NEVER CEASES TO PREACH THE GOSPEL
Here is the PDF for Paul in Corinth Part I: Paul in Corinth. Acts 18.1-18
Paul came to Corinth and met Acquila. He stayed with Acquila and his wife Priscilla, and he worked with them in the tent making business. Paul shares the Gospel with both Jews and Gentiles when he enters the synagogue of Corinth, and he seeks to persuade them all to believe the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a true apostle of Christ, Paul was relentless in his preaching and teaching of the Gospel and in his desire to persuade all who listened to repent of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. As is demonstrated in the book of Acts, a true apostle’s ministry emphasis is the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Christ and making disciples that will live the crucified life through the Spirit of God. No true apostle of Christ will fail to share the Gospel every where he goes. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless us with His understand of His word.
God bless you.
I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will strengthen your heart in these last days as we eagerly await His return with joy in our hearts!
I want to encourage you to believe the Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible.
There is great deception, but there is also great truth by which we can, through the Holy Spirit, expose false doctrines and reject them and continue to practice the faith once delivered to the saints – Jude 1.
There are those who claim to be apostles, but the emphasis of their ministry is non-apostolic.
If we read through the New Testament, the emphasis of an apostle is “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” – 1 Corinthians 2:2.
If we read through the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit has written to us that the apostles preached the Gospel everywhere they went and risked their lives for this purpose.
The apostles didn’t just use the term “Gospel” they actually preached the Gospel.
Today, there are men and women who claim to be apostles, who claim to have apostolic authority, and who claim to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. However, they do not preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Please, dear friend, I do not write these words out of spite but out of deep concern for you and your walk with the Lord Jesus.
May you and I base our faith on what the Holy Spirit has already written in His Word – the Bible.
May we follow the true apostles of the New Testament who have written down for us what are the major doctrines and practices we are to believe and obey for all time – until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.
The Holy Spirit wrote the book of Acts for a purpose; contained in the these mighty words of the Holy Spirit, are apostolic caricatures – what the first apostles taught, believed, and obeyed. There is no apostle in the book of Acts that failed to preach the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every city and town they visited.
A modern day apostle that does not preach the Gospel of the first apostles is no apostle.
It’s that simple.
If you happen to listen to a message from a modern day apostle, then please consider carefully what you hear:
- Is Jesus Christ declared to be God and Savior?
- Is Jesus Christ declared to have died on the cross for our sins?
- Is Jesus Christ proclaimed to have risen from the dead on the third day?
- Is Jesus Christ taught to be the only way to heaven?
If the preaching of the Gospel is not the primary emphasis of the apostles that we hear, then we need to reject these people, their doctrine, their churches, their organizations, their literature, etc.
It’s very simple. If a man or woman who claims to be an apostle does not actually preach the biblical Gospel everywhere they go, then they are no apostle.
God bless you.
That is the one issue between God and man – our sins.
God wants humanity to know that sin separates us from Him; however, He has made provision for our sins – His Son, Jesus Christ.
God has ordained Jesus Christ to be the Judge of the living and the dead. Jesus, our Judge, died on the cross for our sins – this was God’s will.
God wants to save us from the judgment that is coming for the world’s sins (all our sins combined) against Him. We will be condemned to hell if we chose not to be forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. When we reject Jesus Christ as our God and Savior, we remain enemies of God. Instead of loving God, we chose to love our sin.
Our sins can only be forgiven “through His name” and “whoever believes in Him shall receive forgiveness of sins” – Acts 10:43. God will forgive us is we will believe in Jesus Christ: that He is God, that He died on the cross for our sins, and that He rose again from the dead on the third day.
Forgiveness can only be granted by God, Himself. He said that if we believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, then He will forgive
of our sins.
May you believe in the Son of God – Jesus Christ – who died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead.
He is alive. He is the truth. He is what you are missing.
May the Lord Jesus reveal Himself to you.
Revive Us O’ LORD!
I love You because You first loved me. I thank You for the glorious grace that You have given to me through faith in Your Gospel.
I repent for quenching the Holy Spirit in my life: because my love has grown cold and uncaring for the world around me – right where I live – in my own backyard.
I repent for grieving Your Holy Spirit in my life because I believe I am the only one doing “it” right.
I repent for the hardness of my heart in failing to seek out and fellowship with believers across the street from the “other” church that believes the biblical, true Gospel.
I repent because I have forgotten that there is only One Body of Christ filled with born again believers from different walks of life and espousing different views though solidly dedicated and faithful to the biblical Gospel – Your Gospel, to the Apostles’ Creed, to the inerrancy of the Word of God, to the work and power of the Holy Spirit, and to prayer.
I repent of the evil of my divisive and arrogant tongue that has promoted my agenda at the cost of hurting those who are truly born again.
I repent of the spiritual pride I often find in my own heart but am too weak to confront and too prideful to admit.
I repent of the bitterness I have spread and the grudges I have held against other believers who have wronged me, hurt me, gossiped about me, or shunned me from fellowship.
I repent for the ungodliness of my nation’s sexual perversion and its results: STDs, divorce, and abortion.
I repent for my nation’s idolatry: covetousness, greed, and corruption.
I repent because of ungodly leaders who have sacrificed this nation’s honor for self-aggrandizement and financial contributions.
I repent because of ungodly Supreme Court justices who uphold unholy laws.
I repent for my nation’s many, many sins against You.
I repent, Lord Jesus. I repent.
Help me see as You See. Make my heart as Your Heart. Make my life as Your Life.
Live through me, Lord Jesus.
Rule my heart today and always.
In Your Name, Lord Jesus,
