True Apostles Preach The Gospel

Dear Reader,gospelpreaching2

I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will strengthen your heart in these last days as we eagerly await His return with joy in our hearts!

I want to encourage you to believe the Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible.

There is great deception, but there is also great truth by which we can, through the Holy Spirit, expose false doctrines and reject them and continue to practice the faith once delivered to the saints – Jude 1.

There are those who claim to be apostles, but the emphasis of their ministry is non-apostolic.

If we read through the New Testament, the emphasis of an apostle is “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” – 1 Corinthians 2:2.

If we read through the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit has written to us that the apostles preached the Gospel everywhere they went and risked their lives for this purpose.

The apostles didn’t just use the term “Gospel” they actually preached the Gospel.

Today, there are men and women who claim to be apostles, who claim to have apostolic authority, and who claim to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. However, they do not preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please, dear friend, I do not write these words out of spite but out of deep concern for you and your walk with the Lord Jesus.

May you and I base our faith on what the Holy Spirit has already written in His Word – the Bible.

May we follow the true apostles of the New Testament who have written down for us what are the major doctrines and practices we are to believe and obey for all time – until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

Any person who claims to be an apostle but does not preach the biblical Gospel of Christ everywhere he or she goes is no apostle. It’s that simple.

The Holy Spirit wrote the book of Acts for a purpose; contained in the these mighty words of the Holy Spirit, are apostolic caricatures – what the first apostles taught, believed, and obeyed. There is no apostle in the book of Acts that failed to preach the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every city and town they visited.

A modern day apostle that does not preach the Gospel of the first apostles is no apostle.

It’s that simple.

If you happen to listen to a message from a modern day apostle, then please consider carefully what you hear:

  1. Is Jesus Christ declared to be God and Savior?
  2. Is Jesus Christ declared to have died on the cross for our sins?
  3. Is Jesus Christ proclaimed to have risen from the dead on the third day?
  4. Is Jesus Christ taught to be the only way to heaven?

If the preaching of the Gospel is not the primary emphasis of the apostles that we hear, then we need to reject these people, their doctrine, their churches, their organizations, their literature, etc.

It’s very simple. If a man or woman who claims to be an apostle does not actually preach the biblical Gospel everywhere they go, then they are no apostle.

God bless you.

The Third Jewish Temple

I read this article: “The Temple Institute, dedicated to rebuilding ancient holy site, now using new internet tools to bring its message to the masses”

Source: The third Jewish Temple is coming to your Facebook feed

Below is the post I wrote concerning the article. G-d bless you.

To my Jewish and Gentile friends – greetings to you.

Tisha B’Av mourns the destruction of the first and second temples; moreover, in modern Judaism, it is also a day of mourning because the present generation has not rebuilt it. Thus, there is great excitement in the hope of rebuilding the third Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and on the historic, Temple Mount. However, there is a great misunderstanding when it comes to rebuilding the third Jewish Temple.

I believe the Prophets are very clear: “Thus saith HaShem: The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; where is the house that ye may build unto Me? And where is the place that may be My resting-place? For all these things have My hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith HaShem; but on this man will I look, even on him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word”Isaiah 66:1-2.

HaShem’s message, through His prophet Yeshayahu (Isaiah), is that He is looking for men and women who are clothed with the humility of repentance from sins and obedience to His word. Those who “tremble at His ‘dabar'” or word are those who believe it, respect it, and live it. Looking to the Temple was the wrong focus and a false hope of salvation from the Babylonians for an 8th century Jew in Yeshayahu’s day who was not repentant of sin and did not obey Torah. The prophets categorically condemned the hypocrisy of faith in the Temple instead of faith in HaShem alone:

“Thus saith HaShem of hosts, the G-d of Israel: Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying: ‘The temple of HaShem, the temple of the HaShem, the temple of HaShem, are these'” – Jeremiah 7:3-4.

While the Temple Institute is well meaning in its purpose to rebuild the Third Jewish Temple, it is also promoting error and is a false hope for the world. If Yermiyah (Jeremiah) were walking the streets of Jerusalem today, he would march right down into the old city, stand at the entrance of the Temple Institute, and confidently declare to them all, “Trust ye not in lying words, saying: ‘The temple of HaShem, the temple of the HaShem, the temple of HaShem, are these.'” The Jewish prophets did not believe that the Temple Structure was the hope for Israel or Judah. Yermiyah did not tip-toe around declaring it a lie to put confidence or hope in a building made with human hands – temple or otherwise – even though his own father was a priest who served in the Temple! It is still a lie today.

A very wise, Jewish king questioned the idea of HaShem dwelling in a temple made with hands though he was chosen by HaShem to build the very first one.

Solomon prayed,  “But will G-d indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built” – 1 Kings 8:27.

The G-d of Israel cannot be contained in heaven nor in the highest heaven of the entire universe much less in a temple built for Him.

A brilliant Jewish debater once stated that Hashem does not dwell in buildings made with hands.

Consider further that the actual rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple is a sign. It is a sign that the time of Jacob’s Trouble is near:

“And these are the words that HaShem spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child; wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is a time of trouble unto Jacob, but out of it shall he be saved” – Jeremiah 30:4-7.

A young Rabbi of Nazareth, named Yeshua, also spoke of the time of Jacob’s Trouble. Yeshua said that the time of Jacob’s Trouble would be realized in the Temple in Jerusalem and mark a period of human suffering for Israel and the world unprecedented by all of history. Yeshua also predicted that the Herodian Temple would be destroyed, and His prophecy was fulfilled in A.D. 70 exactly as He predicted! According to Torah, Yeshua is a true prophet of HaShem since His prophecy that the Herodian Temple would be destroyed was 100% fulfilled. Because of Yeshua’s prophetic accuracy, Torah permits us to believe His prophecy that the time of Jacob’s Trouble, predicted by Yermiyah, will reach its climax some time after the third Jewish Temple is rebuilt.

According to Yeshua, Yermiyah’s prediction of Jacob’s Trouble cannot be fulfilled until the third Jewish Temple is rebuilt.

The third Jewish Temple is going to be rebuilt, and some time afterward, the Time of Jacob’s Trouble will torment the entire planet. It will be Hell on earth and that rebuilt Jewish Temple will save no one; instead, it will become a snare to those who put their trust in it.

According to Yermiyah and Yeshua, putting one’s hope in the rebuilding of the third Jewish Temple is a lie because it will begin the countdown to the great wrath of HaShem.

So, what should the Temple Institute put its hope in and promulgate through social media?

We will answer this question, but first let’s study more of the ancient words of Yermiyah the prophet:

“Behold, the days come, saith HaShem, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah; not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; forasmuch as they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, saith HaShem. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith HaShem, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their G-d, and they shall be My people; and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: ‘Know HaShem’; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith HaShem; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more” – Yermiyah 31:31-34.

Yermiyah predicted that Moshe’s covenant would be revised – even superseded! HaShem promised Israel and Judah a new covenant; instead of writing His Torah on tables of stone, He will write Torah on their hearts! After He writes Torah on their hearts, He will be their G-d and they “shall be My people.” Dear Jewish friend, do not put your hope in the rebuilding of your temple even though it will take place and must take place, but put your hope in Yermiyah’s prophecy of the New Covenant – the Torah written on your heart!

Do you know what Yeshua of Nazareth’s shared with His disciples during Seder on His last Passover eve? He quoted from the New Covenant passage in Yermiyah saying, “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” – Matthew 26:28.

Yeshua broke the unleavened bread and passed it to His disciples. He held the cup of blessing and declared that Yermiyah’s prophecy was fulfilled in His own flesh and blood as the final Pascal Lamb.

The New Covenant, spoken by Yermiyah the prophet, has been completely fulfilled in Yeshua of Nazareth – through His life, sacrificial death, and resurrection from the dead. Ancient and sacred, Jewish writings confirm these facts (Hebrews 10):

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

(The blood of bulls and goats were not sufficient for G-d to remember sins no more. Yermiyah explained the New Covenant would do away with animal sacrifice.)

Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering thou would not, but a body has thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou has had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

(HaShem had no pleasure in sacrifice and burnt offering but in the One who delighted in doing His will – the One who did not need to offer sacrifices for sin because He, Himself, was without sin.)

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin   thou would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the Torah; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O’ G-d. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second.

(G-d has taken away the first – Moshe’s covenant given at Sinai, and now G-d establishes the New Covenant predicted by Yermiyah.)

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.

(Jews are no longer sanctified to G-d through Levitical sacrifices but through the offering of the sinless body of Yeshua HaMashiach once and for all; He is risen from the dead.)

And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of G-d; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

(Through Yeshua, all sin can be forgiven once and for all – He perfects forever those who are sanctified by faith in Him. A Third Jewish Temple will not do this.)

Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is   the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith HaShem, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

(Through Yeshua’s death and resurrection, HaShem initiated and ratified the covenant He predicted through Yermiyah the prophet. Yermiyah said the Messiah would write the Torah on our hearts and minds and all our sins and iniquities would never again be remembered.)

Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

(Thus, a third Temple is entirely unnecessary in this regard!)

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yeshua, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of G-d; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

(HaShem’s desire is that we draw near to Him with a true heart in full assurance of faith in Yeshua. This is the new and living way Yermiyah predicted would come!)

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of G-d, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(The blood of the covenant is the blood of Yeshua the Messiah that was shed on the cross at Calvary; it was His shed blood (death) and resurrection that confirmed the New Covenant that Yermiyah said would bring forgiveness for sin.)

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, saith   HaShem. And again, HaShem shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living G-d.”

(It is a dreadful thing to disbelieve in Yeshua of Nazareth as the Messiah. HaShem will judge His people; He will judge whether or not they believed or rejected Yeshua HaMashiach. All unbelievers, both Jew and Gentile, who do not repent and believe in Yeshua of Nazareth will suffer the severest punishment HaShem has prepared in the Lake of Fire – it is eternal, conscience damnation.)

Dear Reader, please do not put your hope in the rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple, but put your hope in someone infinitely more powerful, life giving, and eternal – Yeshua of Nazareth, the Messiah of Israel.

It is He who shed His blood on the cross so our sins could be forgiven and His Torah could be written on our hearts exactly as Yermiyah predicted!

It is He who’s blood ratified the New Covenant predicted by Yermiyah the prophet.

It is He alone who is the Hope of Glory, the Hope of Israel, and the Savior of the World.

He died as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and He rose again from the dead. Yeshua is alive. It is He who will write HaShem’s Torah on your heart and transform your life by delivering you from all desires to sin that are in your heart.

The desire to sin that is within us is a horrible weapon against us, but Yeshua came to set us free from sin and to write His Torah on our hearts – eliminating our slavery to the sins we were once in bondage to perform.

To summarize:

Yermiyah the prophet boldly proclaimed that hope in the Temple was a lie! The Temple Institute is well meaning but wrong.

Yermiyah predicted the time of Jacob’s Trouble. The Temple Institute is unwittingly fulfilling Yermiyah’s and Yeshua’s predictions concerning the time of Jacob’s Trouble.

Yermiyah prophesied of the New Covenant with the House of Israel and Judah that would result in His Spirit writing His Torah on the human heart and forgiving us of all our sins; no honest, Jewish believer in Torah can deny this promise of HaShem.

Yeshua of Nazareth predicted the destruction of the Herodian Temple, and it came to pass in 70 A.D. This fact is both mourned and memorialized during Tisha B’Av.

Yeshua of Nazareth prophesied that Jacob’s Trouble would not begin until some time after the Third Temple is rebuilt.

The Temple Institute, while sincere, is actually fulfilling (if they follow through) Yeshua’s prophecy of a rebuilt temple prior to the time of Jacob’s Trouble and His forthcoming return to earth.

Yeshua of Nazareth declared Himself to be the fulfillment of Yermiah’s New Covenant prophecy with the house of Israel and Judah.

The ancient Jewish author of Hebrews irrefutably proves Yeshua of Nazareth to be the fulfillment of Yermiyah’s New Covenant prophecy.

The evidence for believing in Yeshua HaMashiac is flawless.

May you come to know Him who declared Himself to be the fulfillment of the New Covenant spoken by Yermiyah the prophet.

HaSham does not want you to put your trust in building the third Temple; HaShem wants you to have a broken and contrite spirit and tremble at His word by repenting of your sins and believing in Yeshua HaMashiach.

Blessing to you, dear Reader.
