God’s Love Builds Up Others

Knowledge puffs up but love edifies.

Knowledge of God’s Word is to make us “wise unto salvation.” As we grow in our maturity in Christ, the Lord Jesus and His Gospel should become even more precious to us. Our love for Christ Jesus and others should become more and more fervent; true spiritual growth is not measured by how much of the Bible we know but by how much of the Bible we wisely practice. A mature, knowledgeable believer will abound in the love of God toward others. Kindness, forbearance, forgiveness, and truth and grace will flourish in his or her character because the Holy Spirit has made Christlikeness their passion. God’s love (as He has defined love – 1 Corinthians 13) will permeate within them filling their hearts, emotions, and thoughts with His love and overflowing through their speech, behavior, and attitudes toward others. “Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies” – 1 Corinthians 1:8. God’s love builds up others:)

Unchristian Christianity

Unchristian christianty.png

It is Christ who died! It is Christ who was buried! It is Christ who rose again to never die again! It is Christ who was seen by over 500 eyewitness. It is Christ who ascended into Heaven. It is Christ who will soon return!

It is Christ who gives us the grace to be saved and to seek to become more and more like Him through fellowship with Him.

The world and its foolishness, the corrupted Unchristian, “Christian” world and its foolishness, and all the foolishness of men will be done away with when the Lord Jesus Christ appears! All true, repentant and sanctified believers in Christ will be gathered together with Him to meet the Lord in the air, and they will ever be with the Lord. The unfaithful will suffer the wrath of God that will be poured out upon this world.

When Jesus Christ returns, He alone will clean up the mess that man and his wisdom has created and boldly infused into His redemptive purpose to corrupt His plan of redemption. Satan has twisted and promoted a Satanic “Christianity” that is pathetic, evil, and powerless to to produce Christlikeness – yet, Christlikeness is the goal of a true believer’s sanctification – Philippians 2:12. So many propagate this vile form of Christianity that it is becoming the norm.

Scriptural Christianity teaches conformity to Christ, denial of self, taking up one’s cross, and following Jesus in obedience to His doctrines whether healthy or unhealthy, rich or poor, hungry or full, or miraculous or not  – Philippians 4. True Christianity seeks to become more and more like Jesus Christ in heart through daily fellowship and obedience to Him – Philippians 2:1.  The true Christian will learn the secret of knowing Christ by experience, the power of His resurrection, the fellowship of His suffering, conforming to His death, and attaining to the resurrection of the dead! Though not perfect, the true believer is perfected and declared righteous in Christ – completely justified in God’s sight by His grace through faith alone.

There is whoredom within what is called Christianity, today; professing “believers” have sold themselves to lies propagated by men and women claiming to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor teachers. Prophecy has become fortune telling, Bible teaching has become entertainment, apostolic doctrine has become the opinions of fathers, and forms of evangelism have become the cloak for covetousness and the love of money. For these things and much more, what is called the “church” needs to humble itself and repent, yet repentance is far from the vocabulary of mainline denominations.

“Seek the Lord and live,” Amos warned.

“Rend your heart and not your garments,” Joel declared.

“Repent and believe the Gospel,” Jesus proclaimed.

For the time has come that judgment must begin in the house of the God, and it most certainly will.

May all the faithful continue to be faithful to the end and receive the crown of life by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:17–18(NKJV)

17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. God bless.

Love Jesus.

There is nothing more important in this world than loving Jesus.

If you love Jesus, then you will want to seek Him and know Him.

Knowing Him is the greatest privilege and experience.

This is why Paul counted all of his works of righteousness, all of his religious training, and all of his self-willed zeal as dung compared to the “excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord” – Philippians 3.

Jesus Christ gives us His knowledge of Himself, so we will love Him, seek Him, and become more and more like Him in our hearts.

Christlikeness is to be the goal of our lives!

While living upon this earth as born again believers in Jesus Christ’s glorious Gospel of grace, we must pursue Christlikeness by remaining in faith motivated fellowship with Him.

Through fellowship with Him, He pours His love into us: love for Him and love for others.

Through fellowship with Christ (because He is alive!), we are taught by Him, changed by Him, and become more like Him in our hearts.

I pray that you will love Jesus, know Jesus, fellowship with Jesus, and become more and more like Him in your heart. This is the glorious experience Paul constantly wrote about in all of his epistles.
