Apollos preached the Scriptures not his opinions. May we all learn to do the same.

By the Scriptures, Apollos proved that Yeshau was the Messiah of Israel. What Scriptures did Apollos use?

How important are the Scriptures in our post-modern age? Are the Scriptures as powerful today as they were in the 1st century?

What is the rhema (word) of God? How can I receive this Word?

I pray that this message from God’s written Word will bless you and strengthen your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ: His truth, His love, His mercy, His grace, and His judgments.

God bless you.

The Axiom of a True Apostle. Philippians 1:15-20

The Axiom of a True Apostle. Philippians 1.15-20.

The axiom of a true apostle is to preach Christ. Paul preached Christ, and he rejoiced when Christ was preached. Paul defended the preaching of Christ and not himself. He could have dropped the Gospel for freedom from imprisonment. He didn’t. He was faithful to his calling. May you, dear reader, be encouraged by this message from God’s Word. God bless you.

Paul in Corinth. Acts 18:1-18. Part I

PAUL IN CORINTH: A TRUE APOSTLE NEVER CEASES TO PREACH THE GOSPEL

Here is the PDF for Paul in Corinth Part I: Paul in Corinth. Acts 18.1-18

Paul came to Corinth and met Acquila. He stayed with Acquila and his wife Priscilla, and he worked with them in the tent making business. Paul shares the Gospel with both Jews and Gentiles when he enters the synagogue of Corinth, and he seeks to persuade them all to believe the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a true apostle of Christ, Paul was relentless in his preaching and teaching of the Gospel and in his desire to persuade all who listened to repent of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. As is demonstrated in the book of Acts, a true apostle’s ministry emphasis is the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Christ and making disciples that will live the crucified life through the Spirit of God. No true apostle of Christ will fail to share the Gospel every where he goes. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless us with His understand of His word.

God bless you.

True Apostles Preach The Gospel

Dear Reader,gospelpreaching2

I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will strengthen your heart in these last days as we eagerly await His return with joy in our hearts!

I want to encourage you to believe the Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible.

There is great deception, but there is also great truth by which we can, through the Holy Spirit, expose false doctrines and reject them and continue to practice the faith once delivered to the saints – Jude 1.

There are those who claim to be apostles, but the emphasis of their ministry is non-apostolic.

If we read through the New Testament, the emphasis of an apostle is “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” – 1 Corinthians 2:2.

If we read through the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit has written to us that the apostles preached the Gospel everywhere they went and risked their lives for this purpose.

The apostles didn’t just use the term “Gospel” they actually preached the Gospel.

Today, there are men and women who claim to be apostles, who claim to have apostolic authority, and who claim to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. However, they do not preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please, dear friend, I do not write these words out of spite but out of deep concern for you and your walk with the Lord Jesus.

May you and I base our faith on what the Holy Spirit has already written in His Word – the Bible.

May we follow the true apostles of the New Testament who have written down for us what are the major doctrines and practices we are to believe and obey for all time – until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

Any person who claims to be an apostle but does not preach the biblical Gospel of Christ everywhere he or she goes is no apostle. It’s that simple.

The Holy Spirit wrote the book of Acts for a purpose; contained in the these mighty words of the Holy Spirit, are apostolic caricatures – what the first apostles taught, believed, and obeyed. There is no apostle in the book of Acts that failed to preach the Gospel of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every city and town they visited.

A modern day apostle that does not preach the Gospel of the first apostles is no apostle.

It’s that simple.

If you happen to listen to a message from a modern day apostle, then please consider carefully what you hear:

  1. Is Jesus Christ declared to be God and Savior?
  2. Is Jesus Christ declared to have died on the cross for our sins?
  3. Is Jesus Christ proclaimed to have risen from the dead on the third day?
  4. Is Jesus Christ taught to be the only way to heaven?

If the preaching of the Gospel is not the primary emphasis of the apostles that we hear, then we need to reject these people, their doctrine, their churches, their organizations, their literature, etc.

It’s very simple. If a man or woman who claims to be an apostle does not actually preach the biblical Gospel everywhere they go, then they are no apostle.

God bless you.
